RPG ANNUAL CONVENTION
The Annual General Meeting and Convention is held each year. Nowadays, in alternate years, the Convention and AGM are held over a weekend. This enables members to meet informally, socialise and have a chat with fellow members. There is a full programme of events. The past two weekend Conventions have been held in Liverpool and Glasgow and were thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended.
2010 NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE
The Railway Philatelic Convention and AGM for 2010 was held in the Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, on the weekend of 11th - 13th June 2010. Being a weekend event, there was a very full programme including an informal evening gathering on the Friday evening, a selection of displays, a swap shop, competition entries on view, the AGM and a dinner on the Saturday followed by an auction and a further display, on the Sunday morning.
